Exhibit Space Still Available for NIACC’s Job & Internship Fair

North Iowa Area Community College will hold its annual Job & Internship Fair Wednesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the NIACC Gymnasium; exhibit space remains available to interested companies. 

“The Job & Internship Fair is the perfect opportunity for local companies to network and distribute company and employment information to interested job and internship seekers. Whether companies are actively seeking new hires or not, the opportunity for company exposure and information sharing are invaluable,” Terry Schumaker, NIACC Career and Internship Center director, said.  “For jobseekers looking for a job now or those who are thinking about a job or career change in the future, they will find that participating employers will be offering a wide range of employment opportunities in many different industries as well as all experience levels from high school and college students to seasoned professionals.”

Companies participating in the event will have a great opportunity to provide valuable information to the public, and can register online by visiting www.niacc.edu/careercenter and clicking on the Job & Internship Fair registration link.

“We are expecting a lot of job seeker traffic this year given the higher unemployment rate in North Iowa at this time. This will allow for participating companies to gain excellent exposure and access an abundant applicant pool,” Schumaker said.

The event will be open to NIACC students and the general public at no charge and is coordinated by the NIACC Career and Internship Center.
