Job Fair 2000

Based on its initial success, NIACC’s annual Job Fair will again feature an online component. The "Virtual Job Fair" will surround Job Fair 2000, which will be held on the NIACC campus Wednesday, March 29. The event is sponsored by NIACC and the Workforce Development Center.

Between March 1 and April 12, students, alumni and the general public will be able to access a directory of participating companies at The Virtual Job Fair allows job seekers to check out employers participating in Job Fair 2000 and to link directly to a company’s web site with the click of the mouse.

"The Virtual Job Fair is an easy way for people to find out more about prospective employers,"explained Kay Field, Director of Employment & Career Services at NIACC. "I think you’ll see more and more job seekers searching for employment opportunities online."

Nearly 100 companies are expected to participate in Job Fair 2000.
