November 30, 2001 NEWS RELEASE Bloom Gardens in Forest City Offers Creative Classes Bloom Gardens at Bill’s Family Foods in Forest City will offer exciting and creative classes for those who want to explore new experiences on Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In coordination with North Iowa Area Community College Continuing Education, Bloom Gardens has created a schedule of courses filled with a variety of interests. The class schedule will run as follows: Wine Tasting, Dec. 13; Journaling and Coffee Tasting, Jan. 10; Winter Wonderland Fresh Bouquet, Jan. 24; Valentine Gift Basket, Feb. 7; Calligraphy for Beginners, Feb. 21 and 28; Basic Flower Arranging and Bowmaking, March 14; Wine Tasting, March 28; Cake Decorating, April 4; Garden Planning, April 18; Mother’s Day Gift (kid’s class), May 2; Mother’s Day Gift (adult’s class), May 16. Classes teach skills such as making bouquets, customizing gift baskets, creating interesting uses of wine and serving ideas and planning gardens early to avoid planting mistakes this spring. Tuition for each class costs $8 plus a supply fee, except the calligraphy class, which costs $15 plus a supply fee.
