December 10, 2001 NIACC Students Will Compete in Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition The North Iowa Area Community College Pappajohn Center is sending students to the statewide Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition in Des Moines on Friday, Dec. 14. Nathan Toby and Aaron Sweeny, both freshmen at NIACC, will attend the competition. Toby, of Allison, and Sweeny, of Belmond, both participated in the "Introduction to Entrepreneurship" credit course at NIACC. The students were selected from the plans submitted as part of a regional competition. These students will have the opportunity to present their plan to Pappajohn and his staff in an effort to win a $5,000 award. Sponsors of the competition include John Pappajohn and Equity Dynamics. ##### Ref. 1994 |
