NIACC Offers Build Your Own Webpage Kid’s Computer Camp

North Iowa Area Community College will offer a Build Your Own Webpage Kid’s Computer Camp Monday-Thursday, July 15-18, from 9 am-noon on the NIACC campus. This camp is for children entering third, fourth, fifth or sixth grade. Two different age appropriate classes are offered. The camp theme for the third and fourth graders is "The Jungle Book," and the theme for the fifth and sixth graders is "All About Me."

Students will learn the use of digital camera, flatbed scanners and state-of-the-art computer equipment to build a dynamic webpage. The high-tech webpage, which will be presented to parents at the end of the camp, will include fun information on the Jungle Book or on the students, including family, activities, pets, sports and family.

Children must register by June 15. The camp cost is $89.00. Please have the social security number of the student when calling to register. The course numbers for the third and fourth grade students is #MP76502 and for the fifth and sixth grade students the course number is #MP76503.
