NIACC Scholarships Available for Floyd County Residents

People living in Floyd County or the Charles City area have an extra incentive to attend college this fall. The Charles City Area Scholarship Fund will once again benefit students who plan to attend North Iowa Area Community College. The $500 scholarships will be awarded to applicants at least 18 years old, living in Floyd County and /or within a 20-mile radius of Charles City, and enrolled part-time (up to 11 semester hours of college credit). Classes maybe taken at the NIACC main campus or at the NIACC Charles City Center.

Over 50 local students have benefited from this scholarship fund, which is made possible through the support and generosity of local businesses and community members. To apply, stop by the NIACC Charles City Center or the NIACC Financial Aid Office, or visit www.niacc.edu/alumni/scholarships.html.
