Raef LaFrentz to Appear at NIACC Golf Outing

Raef LaFrentz of the Boston Celtics will appear at the 3^rd annual NIACC Athletics Golf Outing, which will be held August 1 at the Mason City Country Club. Lafrentz, an All-American at the University of Kansas, averaged over 11 points and nearly 7 rebounds per game last season, his second with the Celtics. In his 7-year career LaFrentz has had stints with the Dallas Mavericks and the Denver Nuggets.

The event will be a 4-person best-shot tournament. Entry fees are $80 per person, which includes green fees, cart, and dinner. Foursomes can be purchased for $300. The event begins with a 1 PM shotgun start; raffle and hole prizes will be included as well. All proceeds go to support NIACC Athletic scholarships.
