Area Students Recognized at NIACC Web Design Banquet

Students from Tracy Peterson’s Beginning Web Page Development class at Clear Lake High School, attended the Beginning Web Page Development Web Design Recognition Banquet held recently at North Iowa Area Community College.

The event celebrated the winners of a web design contest offered to students participating in Beginning Web Page Development courses in a number of North Iowa area high schools.

Ryan Kibsgaard was recognized as a scholarship winner and was awarded a three credit hour NIACC scholarship for his project. Nikki Burleson, Tyler Kline and Kristofer Selbekk were recognized as honorable mentions at the event.

Over 80 people attended the event, including students from 12 northern Iowa and southern Minnesota high schools, instructors, parents, NIACC students and personnel.

Aaron Friedrich was recognized as a scholarship winner and was awarded a three credit hour NIACC scholarship for his project. Travis Brown, Ed Christopherson, Beth Ann Keller and Sonja Paulson were recognized as honorable mentions at the event.

Joy Hosefelder, Paul Norris, Kolten Rasmussen and Trang Vo, all of Johnson’s class, were recognized as honorable mentions at the event.
