FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NIACC Alumnus Dr. Robert Keith is Guest Speaker for 15th Annual Pathways to Success Luncheon on April 22
The NIACC Alumni Association hosts Pathways to Success annually to honor a select group of students for their scholarship, leadership and character. An accomplished NIACC graduate is invited back each year to share his or her "pathway to success" with the students and audience. This graduate is named NIACC’s outstanding alumnus for the year. Sponsors for this year’s Pathways to Success program include the NIACC Student Senate, Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors and Hearing Associates, PC. The luncheon event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Muse Norris Conference Center on the NIACC campus. The meal will include chicken marsala, rice pilaf, fresh broccoli, a brownie and raspberry iced tea. Tickets are $7.50. They may be purchased in advance at the NIACC Box Office (641-422-4188 or 1-888-GO NIACC, ext. 4188). Dr. Robert W. Keith is a 1960 graduate of Mason City Junior College (NIACC’s predecessor). A native of Garner, he currently lives in Cincinnati, OH, where he is Professor and Director of the Division of Audiology at the University of Cincinnati (UC) Medical Center and Professor of Audiology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the UC College of Allied Health. Following NIACC, he received advanced degrees from the University of Iowa. He is a regular author and speaker on the subject of auditory processing disorders, was Editor-in-Chief of the Ear and Hearing journal for several years, and currently serves as consultant to several audiology journals. He was an original board member of the American Academy of Audiology and served on the American Board of Audiology, both of which he has chaired.
