NIACC Small Business Development Center to Host Tax Classes

 

The North Iowa Area Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a series of tax workshops this fall. The Iowa Department of Revenue will present the classes.

The following classes will be offered:

  • Iowa Sales Use and Local Option Taxes
  • September 14, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Pappajohn Business Center Seminar Room 117
  • Course Number 35492, $15 registration fee
  • Business Deductions and Expenses
  • September 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Pappajohn Business Center Seminar Room 117
  • Course Number 35518, $15 registration fee
  • Iowa Payroll and Employment Taxes
  • September 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Pappajohn Business Center Seminar Room 117
  • Course Number 35519, $15 registration fee
  • Iowa Taxes for Construction Contractors
  • October 5, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Pappajohn Business Center Seminar Room 224
  • Course Number: 35520, $15 registration fee

    To register, please contact the NIACC Continuing Education department at 888-466-4222, extension 4358. Please have your course number available. Payment is needed at the time of registration.

    The Small Business Development Center is located in the Pappajohn Business Center on the North Iowa Area Community College campus in Mason City, Iowa, and provides consulting services for business start-ups and existing industries in the North Iowa region. The center also provides FastTrac training programs for beginning companies and existing companies.
