As our region has seen large numbers of layoffs and spikes in area unemployment, North Iowa Area Community College has stepped up to the plate to provide training for the influx of displaced workers and new students sitting in their classrooms.  Our community college does a great job of providing regional access to educational and training opportunities, which is a tremendous accomplishment in these difficult economic times.

In order to successfully meet the increasing demands placed upon our community colleges, we must provide them with the needed resources to build on and develop existing partnerships and services with regional businesses, organizations, and K-12 schools.
