but instructions about your NIACCAlerts account.
NIACC has created this free*
service to provide text message and e-mail notices to students and staff about
campus closings due to weather and other emergency announcements should there be
a need to quickly notify the campus community of threats to the safety of
students and staff.
This service requires each user to log
on and choose to receive broadcast text messages to the cell phone. NIACC will
only use the service for the purposes described and will not distribute cell
phone numbers to third parties. The text messages come from "44929" and will be
sent by the NIACC President or a Vice President in an emergency situation.

1. Enter your NIACC e-mail address and the password that you received via NIACC e-mail If you don't know your password click the "Forgot your password" link and enter your NIACC e-mail address. If your name is in the system instructions to reset your password will be e-mailed to you from noreply@cleartxt.com If your name is not in the system you can set up a new account. |
 2. Click "Add to Profile" to fill in the info for your mobile phone number Click "Add to Profile" to fill in the info for both your mobile phone carrier GO TO STEP 3 and 4! 3. Click the "Channels" button

| 4. Scroll to the
bottom of the page, click "More Options" next to Broadcast messages,
check the "Text message" box, and click "Save Changes". This will allow you
to receive emergency text messages from NIACC on your cell phone.

To stop receiving text messages you must log in to your NIACCAlerts account and uncheck the Text Message box. If you unsubscribe you will not receive an notification messages.
