Prerequisite: None. However, HSC-121, (HEAL-110-W001, 15:251), Medical Terminology I is highly desirable.

Course Description:

A continuation of HSC-120 (HEAL-110-W001 15:251). A brief review of basic medical terminology followed by a systems approach to learning terms associated with the anatomical, physiological, and pathological aspects of the body. (45-0)
Equivalent to 15:252, HEAL-111

Notes: C -The student must purchase an access code along with the textbook from the NIACC College Bookstore. E - Proctored Exams. Some of the exams in this course need to be taken at an approved "proctored" testing site such as the Student Learning Center at NIACC, a local library, Area Education Agency, or the Human Resources Office at your place of employment.
