Course Description:
The primary goal of MIS I is to prepare students to be productive participants in an information society. The course is designed to develop a broad understanding of business information systems, various ways to discern information from an information system, and look at ways to distribute this information. The student will also learn the basic principles and techniques for developing simple computer-based information systems for managerial decision support systems through an extensive group project component of the course.
