Management Of Patients Across the Continuum — Spring 2012

Description: This program is divided into modules designed for the health care professional who is taking care of patients across the continuum in multiple settings, such as the emergency department, critical care unit, medical/surgical units and home care. The best instructors from across the state will be providing the education. Participants may come to one or all of the modules depending on their learning needs. The program will provide extensive handouts, up-to-date information & CEUs in a cost-effective delivery system over the fiber optics network. Competency testing is also available.
Delivery: This is a live broadcast via the ICN, Iowa Communication Network, on which students can interact with the instructors and participants from other Iowa sites, as if in the same classroom. This program has been developed by the Iowa Critical Care Nursing Education Committee and is sponsored by Des Moines Area Community College in cooperation with the other Iowa Community Colleges.
