Countdown To Delivery and Beyond

(Available as a 1 Session , or a 2 Session.

One Session (Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.):

Two Sessions (Time: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.):

Fee: $25.00/student

Instructor: Peggy Davis, RN

Purpose: A series of two classes (or a longer one-day course) to help you prepare for the birth of your baby. You and your partner will learn about pain management during labor and delivery, newborn care, postpartum recovery, tour the Birth Center and much more. Take during your third trimester.

Course Content: *Stages and phases of labor, *Pain management strategies, *Third trimester changes, *Newborn care at home, *Mothers recovery and care at home

Note: Scholarships are available for those in financial need. Please contact the Regional Health Education Center at 641-422-7100 at least one month prior to the first class session about the availability of these funds.
