- ECN-115: Personal Finance
- Introduction to financial planning, using financial services
and your income wisely, protecting your assets, increasing your
income through savings and investments, and planning for retirement.
The primary emphasis is on investments. These include, but are
not limited to stocks, bonds, real estate, and financial derivatives.
- ECN-120: Principles of Macroeconomics
- An introductory study
of how people use scarce resources to satisfy unlimited wants.
After an introduction to economics, the emphasis is on the determination
of national income, output, employment, and the general price
level in the national economy including an examination of the
money and banking system.
- ECN-130: Principles of Microeconomics
- An introductory study of how people use scarce resources to satisfy
unlimted wants. The emphasis is on the behavior and decision making
by individual consumers, entrepeneurs, workers, and other resource
owners in the product and resource markets and the resulting effects
on the efficiency with which resources are used.
