Any enrolled student is eligible for on-campus housing and, by simply filling out an application and contract, can secure a reservation. The housing staff encourages all students, especially freshmen, to complete this process as soon as possible.
Living in the residence halls gives you an opportunity to meet new people from across Iowa, Other states, and even other countries. The residence halls are coed, housing both men and women on alternating wings or floors. And the nice thing is you don’t have to leave the building to see your friends or to get to the dining hall- everything is connected in one facility. Each floor, comprised of approximately 30 students, sponsors at least three activities per semester, and many floors choose to sponsor their own intramural teams, In addition, residents often attend campus activities together, including sporting events, dances, concerts, and other campus entertainment like comedian, hypnotists, musician, and much more. (Most events are FREE!)
