Mentoring Program

The NIACC mentoring program is part of the Student Access Center located in AB-106.

What is mentoring?

One-on-one support for new students, provided by volunteer employees of NIACC.
An opportunity to receive guidance for academic issues.
A chance to discuss thoughts, ideas, and plans.
An occasion to share experiences at NIACC, as well as other areas of life.
A resource to help clarify education, life, and work directions.

Mentors will arrange regularly scheduled meetings with their mentees. Meetings and contacts are mutually arranged between the mentor and mentee and are designed to fit the schedules of both. Discussion topics will vary depending on student needs. Mentors are to be resources to students during their time at NIACC.
