Sue Pitts is the Regional Center Director of the Iowa Western Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Sue works with entrepreneurial businesses as a consultant and mentor. She has more than 20 years experience in marketing, public relations and business development. She has developed and facilitates many training programs covering topics such as start-up basics, marketing, market research and business finance. Sue has more than eight years experience as a co-owner/manager of a small business and was executive director of the Denison, Iowa Chamber of Commerce for nine years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Advertising from Winona State University.
