Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Operating various types of stick welding machines to secure different types of hinges and locks into the door.
– Using different measuring utensils to determine where the hinges, locks, and other small parts are to be secured.
– Stacking the finished frames onto pallets according to the order numbers weighing between 10# – 50#.
– Operating a tack weld gun to piece all of the rails/frames together that have been gathered and placed together.
– Measuring and inserting foam in the inside of the door using different utility knives.
– Tack welding the top of the door on using the welding machine.
– Using a hand grinder to get the access welding edges off before sending the finished doors to the shipping department.
– Climbing a set of stairs to a rail secured platform to place magnets onto the finished doors.
– Wrap the finished doors with the plastic bags when they are received.
– Quality inspect the doors to make sure they are up to st
