Job Responsibilities: Reicks View Farms is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team.

As the Safety Coordinator you will design and implement safety policies and procedures with the
direction of our safety committee that will create and maintain a safe workplace for our employees.

As a member of our team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain regulatory safety compliance policies, programs and training

Collect, evaluate, and maintain data concerning injury claims, workers’ compensation, and other
risk-related data

Investigate and analyze root causes, patterns, or trends that could result in compensatory
losses, and implement corrective action where appropriate

Initiate, perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with an emphasis on hazard
recognition and unsafe behaviors

Coordinate and conduct safety meetings and training programs

Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with
federal and state regulations

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, along with
excellent attention to detail. A Degree or Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or related field is
preferred, along with 2-5 years of safety experience. Knowledge of the swine industry and
OSHA/MSHA/DOT/MUTCD and state/federal agencies is required.

Pay Range: 50,000 – 65,000
