Job Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions:
1. Work as part of a unified total company sales team by:
a. Prospecting new clients and maintaining positive relationships with existing growers
b. Work closely with Division Manager to set measurable sales goals for growth of crop protection,
crop nutrients, precision ag services, seed and other agronomic services
c. Create value by building solid, long-term relationships with customers by getting to know the
customers’ farming operations through a strong foundation of trust and honesty
d. Field scouting
e. Read soil test and tissue sample results and provide recommendations for chemicals, fertilizer,
seed, crop protection and precision ag services
f. Filling and preparing agronomy orders
g. Assist in seed treatment
h. Transportation of NH3 and other products
2. Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and perform field repairs on agricultural
equipment
3. Assist in inventory management of fertilizer and chemicals
4. Handling of bulk fertilizer and chemical; assisting in the fertilizer plants/chemical warehouse
as needed
5. Perform other duties not listed in this description as required by management, including various
outside operational duties.
