Job Responsibilities: The Belmond Independent is seeking a jack-of-all trades editor. This fun position will include writing stories, taking photos, newspaper page design, advertising layout, web design, and social media posting. No two days are ever alike. If you want a job that lets you: try different things, be creative, get out of the office, meet new people, and learn from two 40-year veterans of the publishing business, this job might be for you. You must have excellent communication skills and be willing to work. This is not a sit-at-a-desk and fiddle around job. The Independent is a small, family-owned company where we have fun and everyone gets along. Belmond is a great town with trails, a fitness center, movie theater, restaurants, and medical services.
