Job Responsibilities: KIMT-TV, an Allen Media Broadcasting station, is seeking a Digital Content Producer to work side-by-side with other journalists in our newsroom. This person will be primarily responsible for gathering and posting news, weather and sports content (articles, videos, pictures) on our station website and social media platforms with both accuracy and creativity.

This position involves improving the functionality of kimt.com, including navigation, tracking trends, and usability, along with providing support for special initiatives and projects. This includes creating, shooting, editing, and posting digital news, sales, and marketing content.

Qualified applicants must have a college degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism or Digital Media or work experience in a news writing/editorial capacity. A strong background working with websites and social media is ideal.

Having an interest in journalism and following current events is a must. Candidates should be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment to successfully meet tight daily deadlines.
