Job Responsibilities: What will my responsibilities include?

Have a working knowledge of equipment lockout/tagout procedures.
Observe all lock-out requirements.
Repair, maintain and modify equipment in a safe manner, as instructed by the lead person.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
Document all repairs and make suggestions to eliminate or reduce chronic maintenance items.
Inventory and stock necessary maintenance items if feasible.
Provide input on purchase of new or used equipment.
Notify the appropriate person of problems with equipment.
Attend company courses and assist on project teams when asked.
All other tasks assigned and apparent. May be cross trained for other positions.

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 70 pounds
What qualifications should I have?

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of experience in basic machine and equipment repair.
Electrical experience preferred.
