In the United States, most people make between three and five career changes and more than ten job changes in their lifetime.

Studies have shown that learning can occur at any age. NIACC faculty have even observed that adult students who bring life experiences and emotional security to the classroom make excellent students and are vital parts of a successful classroom environment.
“With work and everything else, I don’t have time for school.”
Evening courses, online courses, 8-week courses and more are available at NIACC. The College also has Community Education Centers in Charles City, Garner, Hampton, Lake Mills and Osage.
“I probably wouldn’t get accepted. I never did well in school.”
As a community college, NIACC has an open-door admissions policy. The NIACC Admissions Office will walk you through the application process and any other paperwork that’s necessary to help you become a NIACC student.
