Children In the Middle
Changes in family structure through dissolution of marriage, or custody modifications are difficult experiences for a child. “Children in the Middle” is a three-hour class providing education and affirmation for parents, with thfe primary focus on children’s needs, at all ages. REQUIRED by the District Courts of Iowa, the program is conducted by qualified professionals from our area.
Topics include:

- Age-specific needs of your children
- Healthy vs. problematic relations of most kids
- Child’s need/survival techniques
- Parenting Skills for divorcing parents
- Model for working with partner to co-parent your child

Attendance is required for both parties in the process of dissolution of marriage or custody modification.
Pre-Registration is required. NIACC must receive your registration and payment at least two days prior to class session. If your registration is received after that time, you will be contacted to register for a future session.
FEE: $45 per participant. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. An additional $10.00 rescheduling fee will be charged if you fail to attend the class you registered for. NOTE: The sessions begin promptly. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Credit will not be given for late arrivals. Class size is limited.
