Two NIACC employees were recently recognized for their dedication, leadership, and impact on students and the college community during the Outstanding Community College Awards, held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Community Colleges for Iowa Convention & Tradeshow.
These annual awards celebrate faculty and staff from across the state who go above and beyond in service to community colleges, and this year, NIACC was proud to be represented by two outstanding individuals.
Outstanding Faculty: Jason Ott
Jason Ott was named Outstanding Faculty, an honor that reflects his commitment to student success and excellence in the classroom. Through his work, Jason consistently demonstrates a passion for teaching and a dedication to helping students reach their goals. His recognition highlights the meaningful difference he makes for students and colleagues alike.
Outstanding Staff: Mark Greenwood
Mark Greenwood received the Outstanding Staff award in recognition of his exceptional service and leadership at NIACC. Known for his professionalism and willingness to step up wherever needed, Mark plays an important role in supporting both students and the college community. This award is a well-earned acknowledgment of his hard work and positive impact.
NIACC is proud to celebrate Jason and Mark and grateful for the expertise, care, and commitment they bring to the college every day. Their recognition at the state level is a testament to the incredible work happening across our campus.
