NIACC Performing Arts & Leadership Series
Dear Friends,
It has been far too long since we have welcomed you to the NIACC Auditorium. I can honestly say on behalf of the whole staff that we are anxiously awaiting the time when things can feel normal again. The Performing Arts and Leadership Series has been busy behind the scenes while we’ve been dark. Here are a few things in the works:
- Upgrading seats: We’ve almost completely removed the original seats and are getting the cement ready to install new chairs!
- Installing a video camera system: We’re preparing for when we have socially distanced events to accommodate those of you who might not be ready to sit in an Auditorium but still want to join our community to experience art together.
- Migrating ticketing software: Unfortunately, our current system will be discontinued at the end of the year. We’ve selected a new vendor and are in negotiations to begin the migration. We’re committed to making this a smooth transition for you!
- Presenting virtual offerings: We’re trying to find new ways to connect with you, our patrons, through the use of technology.
While we’ve been dark, our staff has been repositioned across campus. This is both to be good stewards of our existing resources and to make sure everyone is here and ready to go for the reopening.
But when is that going to be?! We are officially closed through December 31, 2020. All of our fall shows have either moved to the spring or into the 2021 – 2022 season. We hope to know more in the coming weeks, and you can look forward to additional communication from us when we do.
If you are still holding on to your tickets from last season, thank you! If at any time you decide you can no longer wait to see when the new date(s) will be, please contact the Box Office. Once rescheduled, if at any time you decide you do not feel comfortable attending, you may also request a refund.
I would like to give a special thank you to our patrons who have renewed or increased their Friends of the Series status, have chosen to donate back the value of their tickets to the Series, or made phone calls to representatives to ask for assistance directed to the arts industry. These are definitely difficult times for everyone, and I am thankful to be part of such a supportive community.
Hope to see you soon!
Lindsay and the Performing Arts & Leadership Staff

When purchasing tickets to any event for the NIACC Performing Arts and Leadership Series, patrons should only use the following methods to guarantee valid tickets and seating: the NIACC Performing Arts and Leadership Series website (this site), calling (641) 422-4188, or in person at the Business Office on NIACC’s campus.
The Performing Arts and Leadership Series cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any other reseller. Please be aware of “second party vendors” who often sell tickets online at higher rates than the standard price. Tickets bought through these sources may not be valid, and you would be denied admission without refund. To avoid being accidently redirected to a second party vendor online, do not use search engines or links to find our official website. Instead, use this website to ensure that tickets purchased are valid.
