NIACC Employees Recognized at Outstanding Community College Awards
Two North Iowa Area Community College employees were honored for their outstanding contributions to higher education during the Outstanding Community College Awards, held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Community Colleges for Iowa Convention & Tradeshow.
Jason Ott was named Outstanding Faculty, recognizing his dedication to teaching excellence and commitment to student success. Ott’s work in the classroom and beyond reflects NIACC’s mission of providing high-quality education and meaningful learning experiences for students.
Mark Greenwood received the Outstanding Staff award for his exceptional service and leadership. Known for his professionalism and strong support of students, faculty, and staff, Greenwood plays an important role in advancing NIACC’s day-to-day operations and campus culture.

The Outstanding Community College Awards recognize faculty and staff from community colleges across Iowa who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to education.
