All NIACC courses use the Canvas Learning Management System or LMS. Canvas is an easy-to-use online system that allows students to access course content, assessment, and grading information.

Students will see courses on Canvas beginning on the course start date.

Course content will vary depending on the course’s needs. Some courses may link to online tools and resources such as eBooks and content from various publishers.

• Access to eBooks and publisher content may require purchase of access codes. See course booklist for more information on required course materials.

How to find and Use Canvas

To access NIACCs instance of Canvas users will need to login using their NIACC username and password.

• Use a web browser to navigate to niacc.instructure.com
  • Chrome is recommended for an optimal experience.
• From NIACC website – Click tools and select Canvas
• Within TrojanHome – Canvas is listed under Tools – Academics or search “Canvas”
• Students may also use the Canvas mobile app
  • Learn how to log in to the Canvas Student iOS app or Canvas Student Android app
