The Building Trades certificate is designed for individuals interested in exploring a career in residential construction. This entry-level certificate will help students learn and develop skills through a combination of classroom structured units and manipulative hands-on lab projects. Students completing this certificate are encouraged to continue into the Building Trades diploma program to gain knowledge of residential and industrial construction as well as participate in work-based learning opportunities that result in future employment.

Upon completion of the Building Trades curriculum with a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or higher, the student is awarded a Certificate.
