North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) invites the community to experience an evening of music at the North Iowa Concert Band’s annual fall concert, “A Salute to Service”. This free event will take place on Tuesday, November 11th, at 7:30 PM at the NIACC Auditorium.

Under the direction of Derrick Snead, NIACC’s Director of Bands, join us as we honor the men and women of the United States Armed Forces with the gift of music. Featuring selections from a variety of composers, this concert will include patriotic favorites, moving tributes and programmatic works that represent stories of service and sacrifice. This performance will serve as a heartfelt thank-you to all those who have worn the uniform and defended our nation’s freedom. We invite the entire community to come together for an evening of remembrance, and appreciation in celebration of the courage, strength, and resilience of our veterans.

Members of the North Iowa Concert Band represent communities from Iowa and southern Minnesota, including the towns of Charles City, Clear Lake, Dougherty, Forest City, Garner, Greene, Hampton, Manly, Marble Rock, Mason City, Nora Springs, Osage, Rockford, Ventura, Waverly, and Austin, MN.
