Student Government is a one-credit course that serves as both the student governing body and the campus activities board. It is open to any eligible student who wants to get involved on campus.

An eligible student is enrolled in at least six credits (not including Student Government) during the semester and is pursuing a diploma or an associate degree (AA, AS, or AAS). Tuition waivers are available to Student Government members who complete the course with a grade of B- or higher.

As a Student Government governor, you will represent student interests, share student concerns, serve on campus committees, and help make decisions that affect the student experience. Governors also take leadership roles in Student Government-sponsored events and activities, such as movie nights, dances, and community service projects, and assist as student volunteers when needed.

Student Government provides an opportunity to develop leadership skills, make a positive impact on campus, and connect with other students.
