Taking NIACC classes while in high school may qualify you for a $1,500 Future Forward Scholarship when you attend NIACC after graduation. No application needed.

The Future Forward Scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible Area II students who are already taking steps toward college success.

Guidelines

• Scholarships are for full-time NIACC students from Area 2 high schools only.
• Completed 6 or more NIACC credits in high school.
• Hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Each student’s NIACC cumulative GPA will be reviewed during the senior year, at the end of fall semester. Spring semester enrollment will not be calculated in the credit hours or the GPA.
• Scholarships will be awarded in the spring semester of the senior year.
• Scholarships are available until the money is expended; amounts may vary with market
  conditions and interest rates.
• Scholarships do not apply to Advanced Placement courses or high school articulation
  courses.
• Scholarships are for the fall and spring semesters immediately following high school
  graduation.
• No scholarship application is required
