How it works

1. Take NIACC classes in high school (Concurrent Enrollment)
2. Meet the eligibility guidelines
3. If eligible, your scholarship is automatically awarded – no separate scholarship application required.

Who it’s for

The Future Forward Scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible Area II students attending NIACC full-time after graduation.

Guidelines

You may qualify if you:

• Attend an Area II high school and will attend NIACC full-time
• Complete 6 or more NIACC credits while in high school
• Have a 3.0 cumulative NIACC GPA (reviewed end of fall semester of senior year; spring isn’t included)

Timing & important details

• Scholarship is awarded in the spring semester of senior year
• Applies to the fall and spring semesters immediately after high school graduation
• Scholarship funds are available until funds are expended and amounts may vary
• Does not apply to AP courses or high school articulation courses
• No scholarship application required
