Job Responsibilities: NICAO’s Head Start program is accepting applications for a Teacher Associate in Forest City, IA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day, during the school year only.
Assist the teacher in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate, nurturing, and supportive early childhood program.
Build relationships with children, families, and staff that follow our program’s curriculum and Head Start performance standards.
Provide a variety of experiences and media that stimulate children to explore and express their creative abilities.
Eat meals/snacks with children to model and develop positive eating habits.
