Get a head start at NIACC
Starting college is a big step – but you don’t have to do it alone.
The Bridge Program is a free pre-semester experience designed for incoming NIACC students who want to build confidence and be fully prepared before classes begin.
Why join Bridge?
Bridge helps you walk into your first day feeling ready, not overwhelmed.
In this program, you’ll:
- Strengthen your math and English skills
- Learn study strategies and note-taking techniques
- Build confidence in critical thinking and test-taking
- Get connected to campus resources and support services
- Start college with a clear plan and momentum
Is Bridge right for you?
Bridge may be a great fit if you are an incoming NIACC student who:
- Is an HSE student
- Has a high school GPA of 2.5 or below
- Placed into ENG-014, ENG-016, or developmental math
What to expect
Each day is designed to help you succeed – both in and out of the classroom.
You’ll spend time on:
- Academic success skills
- Campus resources
- English skills
- Math skills
You’ll also get to know NIACC, meet other students, and feel more comfortable on campus before the semester even starts.

- June 29 – July 10, 2026

Online session
- July 27 – August7, 2026
