Job Responsibilities: Join Our Team as a Summer Lifeguard at the Mason City Aquatic Center!

Are you ready to spend your summer working in a fun and rewarding environment? As a lifeguard at the Mason City Aquatic Center, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all pool patrons. If you’re responsible, love being part of a team, and are passionate about helping others, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do:
*Oversee swimmers and all users of the pool, ensuring everyone’s safety.
*Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe, friendly atmosphere.
*Lead or assist with pool activities, making sure they run smoothly.
*Stay on duty until the pool is cleared and safely closed.
*Assist with swimming lessons and help participants improve their skills.
*Report accidents, concerns, or issues to the head guard.

The Perks:
*Pay: $11.00/hr and up, based on experience.
*Flexible Hours: 10-40 hours per week, weather dependent.
*Seasonal: Work from May through August.

Requirements:
*Must be 15 years or older.
*Must be able to stay alert and focused while on duty.
