Broadband Specialist I – Mason City
Position Overview:
As a Broadband Specialist I (Field Technician), you will be primarily focused on new installations of our cable television and broadband services. You’ll drive a company van, go into customer homes, and represent Mediacom every day to our customers. You’ll also learn and perform a variety of duties including installation, changes of service, additional outlet installation, disconnection of service, payment collection, and any special requests customers may have regarding installation.

Accounting Operation
Responsibilities:
Prepare Accounting month-end close schedules
Maintain inventory, including ordering components, doing physical inventory counts, receiving in the ERP system, production tracking and building BOMs.
Maintain Fixed Asset listing in ERP system
Assist with financial statement audits.
Handle invoices, bill of ladings, pack lists and purchase orders for corporate office
Light Accounts Payable work, including vendor applications and ordering supplies.
Skill Needed:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
Experience with inventory and fixed assets.
Experience with Business Central ERP systems or other.
Strong MS EXCEL skills.
LDAR Field Technician
Key Responsibilities:
– This position consists primarily of field-based work and requires walking and standing for extended periods, as well as an ability to work comfortably at heights.
– Due to the outdoor nature of the role, work occurs in all weather conditions.
– This role involves approximately 40-45 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
-This role also includes up to 50% – 80% overnight nationwide travel, with per diem provided.
Qualifications:
– Must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record and current driver’s license.
– Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
– basic mechanical aptitude and an independent work ethic.
