Register for Classes

NIACC makes registering for classes simple by giving you an option of registering with an academic counselor or with prior approval, registering yourself through MyNIACC.

  1. Register one-on-one with an Academic counselor to develop your career path and register for classes. Contact the Student Development Office today and make an appointment to register. Student Development Office Administration Building AB104 641-422-4207 or 1-888-GO NIACC ext. 4207.
  2. If you’re a returning student with an earned 2.5 GPA or higher and have between 15-45 credits, you will be released to register yourself through MyNIACC following the academic plan you received when you registered previously. – Instructions for Registering in MyNIACC
  3. For students planning to graduate in the next semester or term, it is required to meet with a counselor to ensure your graduation plan.

Student Registration Responsibilities

Students have the responsibility to follow procedures that will assure valid registration for courses. Please read the Student Registration Responsibilities in the NIACC Student Handbook and learn what your responsibilities are when it comes to registration, canceling your registration, graduation application,ID cards and for any questions regarding your registration responsibilities or the academic policies.
