An apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where individuals can obtain paid work experience, classroom instruction and a nationally recognized credential. Sponsored apprenticeship programs are a proven system for training employees plus building and maintaining a highly-skilled workforce.

Other ideas for connecting with NIACC students about employment opportunities:
- Host a recruitment table in NIACC’s Activity Center
- Interview potential candidates on campus
- Hold an informational session on campus in one of our “smart classrooms” which provide internet access and digital projector for PowerPoint presentations
- Participate in announced job/career fairs or similar events
