& Trauma Nursing Core Course(TNCC)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program is developed by the AAP and is designed for healthcare providers who routinely assist in the resuscitation of neonatal patients.
Trauma Nurse Core Course is developed by the ENA and is designed for healthcare providers who participate in the care of trauma patients.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program – (NRP)
This course provides participants with the opportunity to discuss and demonstrate neonatal resuscitation skills. It includes an overview and principals of resuscitation, initial steps, use of devices, chest compressions, intubation, LMA insertion, medications, special considerations, resuscitation of the pre-term baby, and end of life ethics and care. Course follows American Academy of Pediatrics and AHA 2011 guidelines. The skills portion of NRP is approved for .24 CEU’s for nurses, 2 CEH’s for EMS providers.

Trauma Nursing Core Course 7th Edition – (TNCC)
ENA developed and implemented the Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) for national and international dissemination as a means of identifying a standardized body of trauma nursing knowledge. The TNCC Provider course is a two day course designed to provide the learner with cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills. The purpose of TNCC is to present core-level knowledge, refine skills and build a firm foundation in trauma nursing. TNCC is approved for 1.6 CEU’s for nurses and 16 CEH’s for EMS providers. TNCC provider status is maintained by taking a two day TNCC course every 4 years.
