Job Responsibilities: What We Need from You:
Maintain patient and organizational confidentiality.
Provides competent patient care to the above-indicated patient populations.
Supports and abides by all PHO departmental and safety policies and procedures.
Acts in a professional manner reflecting the mission, philosophy and values of Mitchell County Regional Health Center and Mercy Health Network.
Performs other responsibilities as requested by Senior Director of PHO Clinics, Patient Registration Supervisor, Director of Patient Financial Services, and/or Senior Administrative Team.
Regular and reliable attendance is expected.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of medical terminology required or the completion of a medical terminology course in the first year of employment.
Six months of office experience, preferably in ambulatory setting such as a medical office.
Typing/Computer experience is preferred.
The ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people is required.
Detail oriented, ability to multitask and able to organize work with frequent interruptions.
The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Ability to work with people in a courteous manner.
