Job Responsibilities: About The Job:

The Patient Registration Associate will provide an excellent patient experience to all patients and visitors via phone and in person. This position is responsible for maintaining patient flow, scheduling appointments, directs phone calls appropriately, handles messages, files and pulls charts, registers hospital and clinic patients and collects time of service copays. Being a crucial link between the patient and the care delivered by clinical and service staff, this position must work collaboratively with all staff in support of the patient’s service promoting patient comfort and trust.

The Shift:

Rotating Shifts: Monday-Friday 6:00-5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00-12:00

The Pay:

Starting salary is $15.05 increases with experience.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of medical terminology required or the completion of a medical terminology course in the first year of employment.
Experience:

Six months of office experience, preferably in ambulatory setting such as a medical office.
Typing/Computer experience is preferred.
