The Housing Agreement between North Iowa Area Community College and applicant is for the period of August 27, 2018 to
May 3, 2019. This agreement is for the purpose of billing, collection, and payment to North Iowa Area Community College in accordance with applicant’s contractual agreement with NIACC.
The best time to apply for housing in the residents halls is as soon as possible. Students often send in their Student Housing Application/Contract soon after they apply for admissions at NIACC. Students are assigned in a sequence determined by the date that the signed application/contract and application fee are received. You will receive confirmation that your completed application/contract was received, then you will receive your room assignment mid-summer.
New Residents: You may complete the housing contract and make payment online or complete the paper contract and attach payment (check or money order) in the amount of $250.00. Return paper contract with payment to: NIACC Student Housing, 1001 College Drive, Mason City, IA 50401. Written cancellation received by July 31, 2018 (December 15, 2018 for spring term) will be refunded $200.00 of application and maintenance fee; notices received after July 31, 2018 (December 15, 2018 for spring term) will have none or $0.00 of the application and maintenance fee refunded. Keep the yellow copy for your records.
Returning Residents: Return the original Housing contract to the Student Housing Office. Keep the yellow copy for your records.
